Monthly meeting of the LPFM Committee, charged with overseeing WMCB-LP 107.9 FM. All DJs and other interested parties are invited to attend.

Hello all WMCB radio DJs!

You are invited (urged) to attend the next radio committee meeting on Monday, May 4th at 6:00 pm at the station.

** THIS IS AN ALL DJ MEETING! **

We will be celebrating the newly-installed transmitter and antenna with pizza etc, and discussing the new promo plan for the station.

You will want to be involved, or at least be informed. There will be sign-up opportunities for planned events. Your input will be welcome.

Please put May 4th on your calendar and plan to attend.

- One minute history of community building and joining GCTV
- One minute history of WMCB and the original promise
  - Annual cost to GCTV $6000 (now $4500)
- DJs: Who here listens to WMCB regularly? If not, why not?
  - One week experiment: listen ONLY to WMCB (stream, for the numbers)
  - DJ webpages and playlists (BMI/ASCAP)
  - Show Sponsors (20 DJs x $200/yr = $4,000/yr)
  - All DJs should join Discord (Create community, Coordinate stuff)
    - Weekly random 2- or 3-DJ meta / promo show? Fun!
- Schedule Policy Changes and discussion
  - Reduce show repeats (review Show Distribution chart)
    - Asking for callers or promoting events on shows that repeat
  - Improve Jazler library (bring songs on a thumb drive)
  - Launch PSA program (tell everyone you know)
