Send WMCB Your Audio PSA

WMCB will accept your organization's Public Service Announcement as an MP3 file, no longer than 30 seconds in duration, emailed to us at psa at wmcb dot net.

We accept PSAs from the following...

• Greenfield and surrounding area non-profits announcing programs or opportunities for Greenfield residents.
• Local businesses who underwrite the station at certain levels (learn more, below).
• Local entertainment businesses (who underwrite or barter) announcing upcoming events.
• Local media businesses (who underwrite or barter) who partner with WMCB to extend their audience.
• Local individuals who want to share an upcoming bake or tag sale.
• Local individuals who want to share a message with the community or a loved one.

PSAs are free for non-profits and individuals as long as there are no calls to action or prices stated. For-profit companies need to underwrite (or barter) to submit PSAs, which can be about their upcoming public events. For-profit Underwriters get an "appreciation announcement" (see, below). Each organization or person can have only one PSA running at a time.

We suggest you create your PSA MP3 files in the following manner:

• iPhone users can open the built-in Voice Memos app on their phone, record up to a 30-second message, save, and share it via email to our address, above.
• Android and Google Pixel users can use their audio recording app of choice, or download something, save and send via email.
• Come to the station at 393 Main Street, Greenfield MA, and ask to record your PSA in person.
• WMCB staff will not record your PSA for you. It needs to be in your voice.

PSA Playback Schedule

• To ensure proper timing, all time-sensitive PSAs should be emailed a week in advance.
• PSAs will play for one week maximum, typically from Monday to the following Monday.
• Monday to Friday morning air-time (6:00 am - noon) will feature heavy PSA playback.
• Monday to Friday day and evening air-time (noon - midnight) will also feature PSAs but in less heavy rotation.
• Weekends will not feature PSAs, although some may sneak through.

Underwriting WMCB and Sponsoring Shows

WMCB is a project of GCTV and as such is a 501(c)(3), able and willing to accept station underwriting and show sponsoring.

• Station Underwriters at the $1000 level or higher will get an appreciation announcement mixed in with the PSAs and will run a whole year.
  • These Station Underwriters will also get their logo on the WMCB website homepage.
• Station Underwriters at the $500 level will get six months of appreciation announcements.
• Station Underwriters at the $100 level will get one month of announcements.
• Appreciation Announcements will run no more than 15 seconds
  • "WMCB is underwritten in part by (your business), a (short descriptor) company in (town). More info can be found at (website)."
  • Underwriting announcements will be mixed in with regular PSAs
• Show Sponsorship starts at $200 for a year, and includes a 15-second appreciation announcement read or played during every episode of that show.
  • Show Sponsors will get a logo on the show's page on the WMCB website.
